Chinese poetry is the essence of China’s excellent traditional culture. In this project, well-known contemporary poetics scholars select classical poems in Chinese history and make interpretations, in order to promote aesthetic education in Chinese society.

The project will be completed in book series, divided into 8 volumes, a total of 1000 poems. Each volume is named after the selector to show respect to contemporary poetics scholars for their creative works. The series will have Chinese version and its translated version, with the Chinese version published first, followed by its translation. In this way, a landmark outcome will be achieved to contribute to “the Chinese culture going abroad”.
