Language Resources Bank The Language Resources Bank is dedicated to gathering and developing language-related resources worldwide. ACLR aims to build a bank of language resources covering major official languages and key languages of the Belt and Road countries within 10 years.
Language and Culture Museum
The Museum leverages the language resources of the Language Resources Bank and is for exhibiting and sharing language resources. The Museum will present the basic features and usage of languages of different nations and countries over the world, display various language-carried cultures featuring different peoples or regions, promote Chinese language and culture as well as introduce the languages and cultures in the world by means of real object exhibition and digital experience.
Intelligent Language Services Intelligent Language Services focus on the applications and services of language resources. Technologies to be researched include machine translation for various languages, modern language education and real-time language monitoring. Multilingual and multi-functional products of high-tech language intelligence will also be developed. The aim is to solve problems under the complex language context along the “Belt and Road”, provide diversified and 24-hour language technologies for people from all walks of life around the world, and deliver technical reliability for urgent intelligent language services.
