The Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games will attract a large number of foreign athletes, coaches, working staff, journalists and spectators to come to China. In addition to the voluntary language services organized by the officials, how to more flexibly solve the language problems of these foreigners before and after their arrival, inside and outside the stadiums, is an important subject. The Chinese Language Service MOOC for the Winter Olympics aims to serve the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games participants. Its purpose is to provide language services for foreigners to facilitate their work and life in China. This project takes the Winter Olympic Games as an opportunity to show the new image of China and promote cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.

The project "Research on the Construction of MOOC About Language Resources Application Based on the Concept of Language Life -Take the Chinese Language Service MOOC for the Winter Olympics as A Pilot " will create 15 online courses related to Chinese language services in the Winter Olympics. Different forms, such as micro-films, micro-classes (online courses), VR language practice courses, etc, will be adopted to solve the actual language problems of the participants and spectators, and to meet the learning needs of different learners. This project explores the construction of MOOC about language resources application based on the language life concept pursued by ACLR.
