The translation of the CCCPC literature is an important way to introduce China’s major policies and the socialist thought with Chinese characteristics to the outside as well as to express the will of the party and the country. It is a major channel to "express the Chinese discourses to the world " and helps Chinese culture to "go out". Besides, it makes our country take the initiative in translating important documents of the party and the country and have the power to speak out in the world. Thus, it is an urgent need to serve China’s national cultural development strategy.

This project aims to improve the theoretical and practical level of translation of the CCCPC literature, and accomplish the accurate and efficient translation of the core ideas of the literature, in order to lay a foundation for the automatic and intelligent translation of the CCCPC literature. The project plans to complete the compilation of three translation dictionaries (Chinese-English, Chinese-Russian, and Chinese-Japanese) on the core vocabularies in the CCCPC literature. On the one hand, it standardizes important terms and concepts in the translation of the CCCPC literature, and on the other hand, it provides references for translators in this field and even for publicity workers across the country to improve the overall translation quality. On the basis of dictionary compilation, this project will also construct multilingual database of the core vocabularies, providing a solid foundation for the automatic and intelligent translation of the CCCPC literature.
