HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus covers the HSK composition papers of foreign exam takers from 1992 to 2005. The Corpus Version 1.0, launched in December 2006, contains 10740 compositions, about 4 million characters. The Corpus was amended and supplemented in July 2008 to form Version 1.1, and the total number of compositions was 11,569, with 4.24 million characters.
As the Version 1.0 and 1.1 of the Corpus was developed more than 10 years ago, the technology has become obsolete, it was difficult to ensure the sound operation. ACLR has accepted the application from the management team of the Corpus and decided to fund the construction of theCorpus Version 2.0.
The overall design and concrete implementation are conducted by the team headed by Prof. Zhang Baolin, who is the Project Manager of the Innovative Construction on Chinese Interlanguage Corpus at ACLR. Prof. Xun Endong in the School of Information Science at BLCU provides the data of Version 1.1.
The new version of the Corpus retained all the data of Version 1.1. Special Search has been added in addition to General Search. Visual graphic design can be used when making statistics. Users can modify entered and annotated errors in the Corpus as well as search and browse. Automatic download (limited to 500), "Personal studio" and message function were added. For more details, please visit the Corpus website in "Instructions for Users" of the "Help".
