On January 20th, 2018, ACLR’s project "Chinese Character Culture Experience Park" was launched in Beijing International Chinese College. Professor Li Yuming, Director of ACLR, Zhang Xianguo, Director of the Scientific Research Department of Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Wang Yong, Director of the Policy Research Department of Confucius Institute Headquarters and other officials attended the launching ceremony and delivered speeches. More than 50 guests were present, including experts and scholars from BLCU, Tsinghua University, Peking University and other related fields, as well as representatives of cooperative organizations.
As one of the key projects of ACLR, Chinese Character Culture Experience Parkaimsto establish a comprehensive and experiential learning platform that makes teaching fun. The platform shall, based on Chinese characters education and featuring the innovative Chinese character learning model, focus on the promotion of Chinese culture. The experience park will take the innovative teaching mode of Chinese characters as the guiding philosophy, and set up three exhibition areas: the history, the creation and the culture of Chinese characters. ACLR will continue to devote itself to the construction of advanced projects and make positive contributions to the development of culture and science of Beijing and China.
