The Overseas Chinese Language Resources Database mainly includes Overseas Chinese and Chinese Language Basic Information Dataset, Dataset for Narrative History of Chinese Language Education, and Multimedia Chinese Language Corpus.

The value of this project: 1. It is the historical mission to describe and display the overseas Chinese language, and to salvage Chinese language resources by recording and preservingit so as to protect the national language and cultural heritage; 2. The basic information datasets provide data and information references for national language strategies, especially for the Belt and Road language planning; 3. The database provides important data for making breakthroughs in Chinese language research from a global perspective, and serves as an important support for international Chinese language education and spreading; 4. The database and the domestic Chinese language corpus can constitute an integral system for global Chinese language corpora, providing data support for research on sociolinguistics, anthropological linguistics, linguistic geography, and even culturology, anthropology, communication studies, and literary studies; 5. The basic information provided by the database is conducive to planning the spread of Chinese language and the Chinese language market from the perspective of language economics, cultivating and driving the global Chinese language economy.
