This system is the result of ACLR's research project Construction of the Overseas Chinese Language Resources Database. The project manager is Guo Xi, chief expert of ACLR and Professor of Jinan University.
The project has built an online retrieval system for the global Chinese language corpus, including (1) a web retrieval system for overseas Chinese example sentences; (2) a web retrieval system for overseas Chinese words.
The web retrieval system for overseas Chinese example sentences (selected from Chinese newspapers, Internet, textbooks, essays, spoken languages, audios) accepts search with word strings or symbols, and allows advanced retrieval with rules, such as "and, or, not" and with distance.
