On May 5^th, 2018, a delegation led by Li Xiangyu, President of Macao Polytechnic Institute, visited ACLR. Prof. Li Yuming, Director of ACLR attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Prof. Zhang Baojun, Assistant President of BLCU, Director of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office and Prof. Yang Erhong, Executive Deputy Director of ACLR were also present.

The two sides fully exchanged views and conducted in-depth discussions on topics including the Sino-Portuguese-English Machine Translation Laboratory, Sino-Portuguese language research and translation, talent exchange and cooperation.

The delegation includes Prof. Chen Qingyun from Social, Economic and Public Policy Research Centre, Dr. Han Lili from School of Languages and Translation, and Director of Academic Affairs Department Dr. Li Yanlian.
