The “Knowledge Graph-based Intelligent Q&A Program for the Beijing Olympic Winter Games” was launched at Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) on the morning of 26 September, 2019. Xuejun Wan (Deputy Director of the International Relations Department of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (BOCOG)), Hong Liu (Deputy Director of theDepartment of Language Application and Administration in the Ministry of Education), Wangxi Zhang (Vice President of BLCU), Zuomin Xiao (Deputy Director of the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences) and Shuangsuo Zhang (Deputy Director of the Yanqing Operation Center for the BOCOG) attended the Launch Ceremony.
Wan, Liu, Zhang and Xiao made a countdown and launched the “Knowledge Graph ResourcesDatabase for the Beijing Olympic Winter Games” and “Intelligent Q&A Programfor Olympics”. Liu declared that the Knowledge Graph-based Intelligent Q&A Programwas officially in operation. After thelaunch of the Olympic Winter Games Term Portal (V1) on 13 December, 2018, this subsequent launch marks another key technology and system for the Olympic Winter Games developed by ACLR was put in use.
