On the morning of June 10^th, 2019, together with Beijing Language and Culture University Press, ACLR initiated the ceremony forthe compilation of The Documentation of World Languages.

The Documentation of World Languages, compiled by ACLR and Beijing Language and Culture University Press, is a series of books introducing the general situation of world countries/regions and international organizations, the basic language conditions, language policies, foreign language policies as well as Chinese language teaching and application. With a plan of 150 volumes publication, the series will help Chinese people form an understanding of the basic system of world languages, and show them the colorful world of languages. It will give an overview of the condition of various languages and help readers know more about the culture, history, policies and national condition of languages in different countries. More importantly, it will contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative, promote exchanges and mutual learning between cultures and civilizations of human languages, and help to build a community of shared future for mankind.
